If you experience fear when having an attack, look around and try to rationalize whether there really is some immediate danger to be afraid of. Is anyone there actually something or someone there that is threatening or harmful to you? Most of the time, so instead, try to relax and allow the anxiety and fear melt away.
When you feel that you are about to have a serious panic attack, stop what you are doing, sit yourself down, and concentrate on your breathing. Try to do this ten times to feel better.
